To give back to the society and to ensure a stronger base for the upcoming generations of his country was the dream of Late Mr. Ponty Chadha, the founder of India’s multifaceted corporate house, the Wave Group and to give wings to this dream, The Ponty Chadha Foundation (PCF) was established by his wife, Mrs. Jatinder Kaur Chadha. Founded in February 2013, the charitable trust endeavors to give relief to the less privileged ones.

Our Contribution to the Society

Since its birth, the charity has been persistently performing umpteenth numbers of corporate social activities encompassing all sectors, be it health, education, food, to name a few. To fight poverty and to provide sufficient meals to the deprived in Noida and Ghaziabad through the Uttar Pradesh Chapter, PCF has joined hands with India Food Banking Network (IFBN) originated by Aidmatrix Foundation and Cargill India, an undertaking of Dr. Sam Pitroda.

Amongst various schools initiated by the Ponty Chadha Foundation, Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan (MBCN) is indomitably dedicated to rehabilitate and boost up the confidence of more than 800 students who are differently abled. Besides, PCF is also involved in actively organizing medical camps for conducting free health checkups for those who are less privileged.

In the words of Mr. Manpreet Singh Chadha, the Vice Chairman of the Wave Group, “Hunger, illiteracy and physical impairments are the three most atrocious issues that our society is facing acutely. This stimulates a responsibility towards humanity and a thought beyond revenues.”
