Entertainment for All

Cinema has always been a part of culture for the Indian masses, especially the youth. So, why should the differently-abled individuals be denied the privilege of getting entertained when they hold a right to it like everybody else? The Bollywood actor, in his message supported the architectural inclusion for individuals with different needs at movie theatres. As per him, the cinema culture should not be limited to the physically challenged individuals. Instead, the infrastructure should be modified to accommodate them in the mainstream society.

Easy Accessibility

While speaking about the cause, the actor acknowledged the need of disabled-friendly infrastructure. As per him, there should be wheelchairs and lifts in the theatres for the easy movement of differently-abled to visit the theatres. They should be able to see, hear and feel the cinema that not just entertains but inspires everybody.

Cinema with MBCN Kids

Salman is a veteran in the noble profession who marked his association with Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan (MBCN), an NGO for differently-abled a long time ago. His relation with us goes back in 2011 when he held a special screening of his movie, ‘Ready’ for MBCN’s students at WAVE Cinemas, Noida. He had a gala time while enjoying a special performance put up by them and even joined them in singing and dancing. Being a human, the artist also distributed mementos to these children as a token of his love.
