PCF Health Camps in Hathipur Kheda and Duryai

med-bloGood physical and mental health is the right of every individual. In agreement with the same, PCF has been tirelessly pursuing its aim to eradicate diseases from our society and enable healthier living. It has now adopted the cause of Hathipur Kheda and Duryai by helping residents of both villages cope with various health hazards.

This isn’t the first time that PCF has reached out to the needy to deal with such issues. After our last visit to Hathipur Kheda, for instance, more and more people begun to pin their hopes on our work involving the improvement of community health.

An impressive turnout
After our experienced doctors reached these remote villages where medical facilities are scarce, they carried out a health examination on 140 people in Hathipur Kheda and 130 people in Duryai. Primarily suffering from skin-related issues, most of these patients come from very underprivileged sections of the society, and they cannot afford costly medical treatments.

After their diagnosis, doctors found that the problems of their patients were far more complicated than they assumed. As they started examining the turnout at Hathipur Kheda, they found out that most residents were suffering from not just skin diseases, but various other diseases as well. In total, 60 adults, 40 children and 40 women were treated in Hathipur Kheda, while Duryai saw a turnout of 31 adults, 50 children and 50 women.

Free medicines, treatment and referrals for the needy
Since the patients belonged to different age groups and genders, a variety of cases were reported and looked at, including gynaecological problems and cases of anaemia. People with minor issues were given free-of-cost medicines, whereas those with more critical concerns were referred to Dr. Ram Saran Garg Indo-German Hospital for further consultation.

Expert doctors for Hathipur Kheda and Duryai
As the treatment cycle goes on, two of our highly qualified doctors will keep visiting both Hathipur Kheda and Duryai on regular intervals. Likewise, even Dr. Ram Saran Garg Indo-German Hospital will continue to extend its support to ensure the treatment and well being of the residents of these villages. Apart from offering free medical aid, our health practitioners also advise the villagers to adopt healthier practices in their daily routine to maintain higher standards of personal hygiene.

Practices to adopt
This time again, our doctors asked all patients and attendees to wash their hands and take their baths regularly to keep germs at bay. They further emphasized upon the importance of using soap and wearing clean clothes every day. Similarly, they also advocated practicing cleanliness for a dirt and pollution-free environment.

So far, we have not only made tremendous progress in our endeavours to ensure good physical and mental health for all, we’ve also made sure that we continue to reach out to the needy and not allow our previous efforts to go to waste. Looking ahead, with our health camps bearing fruit, we at PCF know there’s no looking back now.
