Cataracts account for half of blindness worldwide but, in India, according to an estimate it is responsible for nearly 80 of cases of blindness. Recognizing the urgent need and importance of availability of good quality treatment facility, The Ponty Chadha Foundation has come forward to take an initiative in this regard, affecting the lives of many needy people.
